Bill and Lori Gregory, who represent Resourcing Christian Education International (RCE) have a long history with the First Presbyterian Church in Springfield. Lori grew up in Springfield and was very involved with First Presbyterian Church as a child and a youth. The Gregory’s now live in the Czech Republic where they have been missionaries for the past 24 years.
The Gregory’s mission in the Czech Republic has been to serve third world culture children while sharing the message of Christ. Lori works as a teacher, school counselor and Chaplain at the Christian International School of Prague (CISP) which primarily serves missionary family kids in and around Prague. Quality education is important to missionary parents so their service at CISP allows other missionaries to focus on why God has called them there instead of one more pressure from cross-cultural living. The Czech Republic needs missionaries to stay there and share the Gospel. Bill has also served as a Youth Pastor at the International Church of Prague and continues to perform outreach ministry work to reach Czech families in the downtown Prague area and Kunzak (a small town on the Austrian border). This year, Bill has taken on a new role as part-time Athletic Coordinator at CISP and will be responsible for coaching and organizing the school’s athletic program.
Lori has reminded us that our church will always be a part of her, as she has many happy memories growing up here. When visiting the U.S. this summer, the Gregory’s will join us for worship in July and share with us their ministry in person. They are grateful for the many years of faithful partnership and support that our church continues to provide.
