New beginnings in 2012! New Deacons joining the current board members, new missions and new zone assignments; hopefully you have already been contacted by your Deacon!

The Deacons have often been viewed as the “heart and soul” of our church; our ongoing work includes the prayer phone, transportation to church events, delivery of flowers, care meals, financial assistance, Deacons’ dinners, communion serving, the food cupboard, hospitality, and letters of concern/rejoicing.

Saturday, February 3rd was the first Deacons’ Family Breakfast, with families feasting on scrambled eggs, french toast, and Bill Winan’s “famous” potatoes! Fun, fellowship, and delicious food!

As the year unfolds, we will keep you informed on upcoming Deacons’ events, the new missions that are being created, and other important information involving our work. Please consider donating items for the food cupboard, communicating to your Deacon any concerns or needs regarding you or someone you know, and most importantly, praying for us as we serve the Lord, this church family, and those in need!
