Children & Youth Sunday School

First Presbyterian Church of Springfield’s vision is that the parents will come with their children to a family worship time following the Sunday School program. We want this church to grow and be a bright shining light for our Lord, Jesus Christ and we feel that a strong children and family ministry is the place to start.

From September to early June all children, ages 3 through 12th grade age are invited to attend Sunday School from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. If you have always attended Sunday School, welcome back! If you are new, glad to meet you! If you have been before, but left, can’t wait to see you again!

For security reasons, parents must come into the building to pick up their child if they are not attending worship. Parents attending worship have the opportunity to send children from K – 5th grade to our Worship Our Way (W.O.W.) church program. This special worship service teaches young children about Presbyterian worship.
